I would like to know if it is feasible to transfer data at the rate of 10MBps(17KB of data in 1.7ms). Help would be very much appreciated.

Top I just got the Ethernet starter kit last week. Although I can't confirm your questions. However, I found this is a fast CPU. This is a MIPS processor with casche capable.
