Touch Screen Controller problem!
Touch Screen Controller problem!
9/26/09 6:36 PM
Hi Everybody,
I have successfully interfaced Touch screen controller ADS7846 with PIC32. It sends a constant value (eg: x = 2057, y = 3465 on 12 bit resolution) when the screen is NOT touched. On touching, it sends out the exact co-ordinates.

I am expecting it to be x=0 and y=0 when not touched.

Is it a normal behaviour to get the co-ordinates like x=2057 and y = 3465?

BTW I have mistakingly connected the penirq pin to gnd via 50k instead of pull up. Will this create the above issue?

Hope to hear a solution !!
